Cofty: If you are trying to show me something negative about Cremo, my server here in Florida doesnt take me there.
No matter what you believe or examine there always somebody saying its not so.
Many times there is a vested interest at stake.
what do you personally believe happens after we die?
i don't believe we really know everything about god or the afterlife.
i do believe that we do transform to something beyond our physical comprehension.

Godless evolutionary atheism, which I see and understand the arguments for, but to me that is a dead end. - JB
Why do you say that?
I know he is a hindu, but I have seen his ancient pictures of men and dinosaurs. I have heard him explain
how he had his human skelleton found in a vein of coal dated.
I'm just looking for the truth.
Why do I say Godless evolutionary atheism is a dead end? Because to me it is.
I am 60 years old, I've been to a lot of rodeos. I want something more than nothing after my last rodeo.
Regardless I examine and weigh evidence and I am listening to Michael Cremos evidence for the next month or so.
No one in this dimension can be absolutely certain what is on the other side, My wiring causes me to look for something
optomisitc.

I also consider myself an agnostic and I read the bible.
The bible leads me to believe faith in Jesus will lead to my eternal security.
But there is the agnostic part, I have recently come across the author Michael cremo, he shows ancient picutures of
men with dinosuars, he presents evidence of mens skelletons burried in millions of year old veins of coal,
which would make men existence on earth in the millions of years and would questions mens understanding of
evolution.
Looking at the evidence from Michael Cremos published view would make me consider that we reincarnate from time to time.
So I guess to keep it simple I believe in Jesus, which requires faith.
When I try to defend my faith and do research, the research takes me to 2 places.
1, Godless evolutionary atheism, which I see and understand the arguments for, but to me that is a dead end.
2, Wanting something more positive and hopeful, I have stumbled on the hindu traditions of reincarnation, and the documented
and historical evidences that Michael Cremo has presented.

[endif]just read bublegum's post and was going to post there but realised it would be off topic.. it got me thinking - as did some of the other atheist threads - why are religious people scared or atheists?
I'm not afraid of atheist.
I cant say I am religious.
I say I am a seeker of truth.
Believing in the God of the bible requires faith.
Atheist do not deal with faith, they deal with pericieved facts.
I enjoy exploring the facts.
i thought religion would die and be forgotten as people get educated and realise its nonsense and full of mistakes, lies and fraud.
i never thought they would self destruct the way they have by way of pedophile cases.
most people i know have no time for religion primarily because of the pedophile cover ups and disgusting treatment of the victims.
I dont know what planet your on but religion is not dying because of pedophilia.
Did you leave out an adjective, preposition, pronoun.
In your world all religion is dying?
Come down to florida on a Sunday morning.
Turn on the Christian channel on your television.
Then you have your muslems, hindus, bahais, buddhist, etc.
You are in the part of education where it is nonsense.
Wait till you get to the part of educatioin where it makes sense.
i am just curious about this because although i agree with many of the posters here that the wt society is guilty of many horrible deeds, i still believe they are right when it comes to doctrinal things as i mention.
especially hellfire.
i just don't see how anybody that has studied the bible for many years like many of the ex-jws here can make an about face and go back to believing hellfire.
I was born in the tower in 52. I have been out since 83.
Today I choose to believe we have immortal souls. I believe we are parts of God, pilgrams on a journey home.
I believe Hellfire is being cut off from the light. Hell to me would be believing there is no God there is no afterlife and dying
with that belief.
I dont think about the trinity often but when I do The book of John says that Jesus is God.
The JW's have the midas touch in reverse, they are wrong about everything they pontificate about, they are
proven false prophets on steroids, my money is they are wrong about the trinity also.
About the trinity my advise is to keep it simple read various translations of the book of John on the net.
They tell you Jesus is God.
Jesus died to save mankind, keep it simple, that simple belief and putting faith in Jesus is what keeps mankind out of hell.
Denying it is the key to hell.
The bible is not about the trinity, the bible is about having faith in Jesus, and your soul is saved by your faith.
Being a Christian and having faith in Jesus is very simple compared to the pharasycial religion of the Watchtower Society.
yep, that's right folks.
a 22-year old man in london, england refused to take a simple blood transfusion which would have saved his life.. i suppose we'll see him in the new system.... here's the article.. .
warm regards,.
I had a brother in law who was 25 and he died from lukemia because he wouldnt take a transfusion.
He died within the week he found out he had it.
i just had a realization looking at a website about the governing body.... in order to get there you no doubt have to have long service to the borg, but more importantly you have to be so deluded and out of touch that you think you're actually going to heaven!
these guys are so brain washed they believe everything so dearly that they actually think they are of the anointed.
no wonder they make such terrible decisions and policies, these guys are loons.. .
I dont think the guys on the governing body were plotting to get in since they were young.
As far as I can tell there was no governing body before 1976.
Knorr ran the show during my time in the organization.
On my good days, I put them out of my mind.
On my bad days, it is an evil corporation.
I try to keep it on the good foot. Whenever I can I warn others to stay away.
Life is a journey and the Watchtower agency is like spiritual day care, before one goes to kindergarden
before one goes to grade school, middle school, high schooll, college, doctorate.
